Author Short Bios:

• Feby Indirani - An Indonesian journalist and writer. Her short story collection Bukan Perawan Maria (Not Virgin Mary) is noted for its critical yet empathetic approach toward Islamic myths and daily life in Indonesia. Her works often foreground minority issues and women's perspectives.
• Seksan Prasertkul - A Thai author born in 1949, he is a National Artist of Thailand (2009). He was a student leader at Thammasat University, active in major political events such as the October 1973 protests. His writings include poetry, short stories, essays, autobiography. He also has taught and been academically involved (e.g. received a doctorate from Cornell University).
