Synopsis
The Path is a collection of six short stories portraying the lives of former Thai leftist activists as they return from armed struggle and attempt to rebuild their lives. Set against four decades of Thailand’s political change, the stories explore shattered ideals, loss, love, friendship, and the struggle to reconcile revolutionary dreams with everyday reality. More than political fiction, the collection offers a deeply human reflection on memory, disillusionment, and the search for meaning after a generation’s dreams have faded.
