Covid came to town, and everybody was facing the lockdown. As daily offerings became scarce, ghosts went hungry. During this hard time, Mr. Cat, the delivery man with the sixth sense, agreed with Miss Takian, the tree ghost, to trade food with her lottery number prediction! This fiction reflects the effect of Covid’s lockdown in Bangkok which comes with advertising space for delivery food at the end of the book.

My book, Miss Takian and Delivery Man: How Ghosts Order Food (เจ้ตะเคียนและหนุ่มดิลิ) is selected as 1 of 50 books (from freelance writer) to be showcased in Taipei International Book Exhibition 2024, Taiwan, during February 20-25.  This year Thailand Pavilion comes with a theme "Borderless".

As  literature, like Korean  dramas and Japan manga, is a soft power, it's a crucial way to show how Thailand truly is; lifestyle, culture, and wisdom. So I think this time is an important step for us.

I'm so glad that I receive this opportunity and truly hope that this year is another step forward for thai literature.
